A standard cleaning keeps up a home that is already in good shape: surfaces, kitchen counters and sink, appliance exteriors, cabinet fronts, bathrooms, mirrors, shower and tub, vacuuming and mopping. A deep cleaning is more detailed: it adds baseboards, window sills, fixtures, corners and buildup areas. Doors are not included in either and can be added separately.

No. We recommend a deep cleaning first if your home has not been professionally or thoroughly cleaned in a while. If it is kept up, or was cleaned within the last month or two, you can start with a standard cleaning and add the extras that need attention — the inside of the oven, the fridge, windows. It is a recommendation, not a rule.

They are add-ons you tick in the calculator: inside the fridge and inside the oven. A move-in / move-out cleaning already includes the fridge and empty cabinets; the oven is still an add-on. An Airbnb turnover includes both, plus laundry. Windows and inside cabinets for other cleanings are add-ons too.

Seven days a week: Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm, Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 7 pm. In the request form, pick a time of day or enter an exact start time. A start outside those hours adds a flat $40, shown in your estimate before you send it.

Roughly: a standard cleaning 2–3 hours for a home with up to 3 bedrooms and 3–6 hours for a larger one; a deep cleaning 3–5 hours and 5–7 hours; an Airbnb turnover 3–4 hours; a post-construction cleaning 4–7 hours. It depends on the size of the home, its condition and the add-ons, so treat these as a guide — the manager confirms the exact time when booking.

No. The calculator gives an estimate. Before we start, we confirm the final price with you by phone or text, and that is the price you pay. Nothing is added afterwards.

Yes. From the second visit on, recurring maintenance service costs less than a one-time clean: 15% off weekly, 10% off every two weeks, 5% off monthly. Tell us how often you would like us in the calculator; the manager sets up the schedule with you. Add-ons are priced separately and are not part of the recurring discount.

Yes, 15% off the cleaning and the add-ons you pick. Keep “This is my first cleaning” ticked in the calculator and your estimate already shows the lower price. Early, late and same-day fees are not discounted. From your second visit the recurring discount takes its place.

No. KAT Cleaning brings the professional supplies and equipment the scheduled service needs. If you prefer specific products or have sensitive surfaces, allergies or fragrance preferences, let us know before the appointment.

No. You are welcome to be home, but it is not required. If you will not be there, send clear access instructions in advance: gate codes, lockbox details, parking, pet instructions — anything the team needs to get in safely and finish the job.

Clear small items, clothes, toys and documents off floors, tables and beds, so the time goes into cleaning rather than sorting. If the inside of cabinets, the fridge or the oven is in your order, empty them first. Each service page has a short “Before we arrive” list.

Heavy furniture and appliances stay where they are. It is a safety rule that also protects your floors. If you want the space under a couch or behind the fridge cleaned, move it before we arrive.

Yes. Services can be customized with add-ons such as windows, refrigerator and oven cleaning, organizing closets or other spaces, baseboards for Standard Cleaning, doors, walls, laundry, dishes, balconies and patios, ceiling fans, high wall vents, steam cleaning, carpet extraction, upholstery and other specialty services. Some specialty work may require photos and a custom quote.

Extras are added through the manager, not with the cleaner on the spot, and are paid before that work starts. Swapping tasks during the visit is not possible: the cleaner works to the order the manager confirmed with you.

Contact us within 24 hours of the cleaning and send clear photos or video of the area. After we look at it we offer one of three: a cleaner comes back to correct that spot; a discount equal to the price of the missed area — if the inside of the fridge at $20 was not done, that is $20 off; or a $50 credit toward your next cleaning. After 24 hours we review case by case, but as a rule we cannot verify the condition the home was left in.
