Privacy policy

Effective October 22, 2026. This site is operated by Kat Cleaning LA (“Kat Cleaning”, “we”), Los Angeles, CA.

What we collect

When you send a cleaning request, we collect what you type into the form: your name, phone number, preferred date and time, ZIP code and any comment, together with the options you picked in the price calculator. We also record the time of the request and the IP address it came from, which we use only to block spam.

We do not ask for your street address or payment details on this site. Your email is optional: if you leave it, we use it for one thing — a calendar invite for your cleaning, sent by the manager after the booking is confirmed. No newsletters, no automatic messages. We count visits ourselves, on our own server, and never through advertising or analytics companies: the pages load nothing from third-party servers, and no cookies are set. What we record is what happens on the site — pages opened, how long a page stayed in front of you, which buttons were tapped, where a form was abandoned and which errors the site made. We do not record what you type: text you enter but never send is not collected at all. Your IP address is not stored; it is turned into a short one-way code used only to tell visits apart and to stop floods. The site keeps the details of your last request in your browser’s session storage only to show them on the confirmation page; that data stays on your device and is gone when you close the tab. To count a visit once, the site also keeps two small marks in your browser: a random visit code in session storage, gone when you close the tab, and a “seen before” mark in local storage that tells a first visit from a return. Neither holds your name, contact details or anything you typed, and clearing your browser data removes both.

How we use it

To call or text you back about the request you sent, to agree on the date and the price, and to do the cleaning. We keep requests so we can look up past jobs, until you ask us to delete them. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to.

Who else sees it

Your request is stored on the server that runs this site, operated for us, and a copy of it is delivered to our manager as a message in a private Telegram channel that only our team can read. Telegram and the hosting provider process the data to deliver that message and run the site, nothing else. If you leave an email address, a transactional email provider sends you the calendar invite once your booking is confirmed. If you tap “Send it in WhatsApp”, “Call” or “Text”, you leave this site and the messaging app’s own policy applies.

If you came here from one of our Google ads, Google adds a random click code to the link. We keep that code in your browser’s session storage and attach it to your request. Later we report back to Google which ad clicks turned into a request or a paid cleaning: we send the click code, the time and the estimated price, and never your name, phone number or email. No Google scripts load on this site, and no cookies are set for this.

Do Not Track

This site does not track you across other sites, so a browser’s “Do Not Track” signal changes nothing here.

Your choices

To see, correct or delete the information from a request you sent, reach us on WhatsApp or text (323) 557-6075. We will remove your personal details and keep only anonymous statistics.

Children

This site is for adults booking a cleaning. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new effective date. Changes that matter for how we use information you already gave us will be announced here before they take effect.
