How long it takes. A standard cleaning usually takes about 2–3 hours for a home with up to 3 bedrooms and 3–6 hours for a larger one. The exact time depends on the size of the home, its condition and the add-ons you pick — the manager confirms it with you.

Starting with us? If your home has been professionally cleaned in the last month or two, a standard cleaning with a few add-ons is a fine first visit. If it has been a while since a thorough clean, we recommend a deep cleaning first — but it is your call, not a rule.

Getting ready for your standard cleaning
A few things to do before we arrive.
- Clear small items, clothing, toys and documents from floors, tables and beds, so the time goes into cleaning rather than sorting.
- We do not move heavy furniture. If you need the floor under a couch or behind a wardrobe cleaned, move it before we arrive.
- Extra services are added through the manager, not on the spot — the cleaner cannot swap tasks during the visit.
